i was very much inspired enough by The Glamourai’s bib necklace creation when i first set my eyes on her blog. i must admit that i came to know about the existence of DIY bib necklaces through her. She was one of my blogger friend who does DIYs on women’s fashion accessories. If i am not wrong, i recalled seeing bib necklaces way back in my college days in 2000 – 2002. But it was revisited now. Anyway, what i did was, without much of thinking, i make time and grabbed all the old necklaces and leftover beads that i can find and started making a bib out of them. i was pretty sure that it is as simple enough to do one. Thanks to blackcoffeecrumbs for the captured pics and mute-mode for the yummy milo-iced drink on a hot sunny day just enough to chill me off the heat in the no-ventilation-kitchen. And mom (sorry, she doesn’t own a blog of her own at the moment, i will try convincing her to begin with one as she has got so many to share about everything pluss her english is way much better than mine ;-) ), who’s kind enough to cook herself a packet of instant noodle just to keep me accompanied during my bib project..
And while we were all being so chatty, suddenly we were greeted by an unwelcome guest…
Yes, its the none other than the predictable irritating Raven (ughh, speaking of her, i despised her for bitting my newly purchased but never worn F21 long tank top just now!!! Arghhh!!!)
Will let you know the outcome of the bib once its in completion. It has only reached a 90% of progression for now. Hopefully i have the time to finish it off.
Have a wonderful weekend to all of you!
Wearing: NOSE Patent Pump Close-ups
i knew its a bit stale to perpetually bringing up this topic “city shopping buy” but i have promised that i would share with you the pictures of the two dresses from F21. So here is it, snapshot of my latest dress collection from F21. Love the price, brocade and skirt construction though it was a size larger. The only piece left on the rack. What else? i just grab it. It was sold at an incredibly cheap price 80 MYR (apx. 22 USD). i love sale items and it encourages consumers to shop for more. The fact is that most of us do not actually purchase fresh & new product immediately after its been launched (especially designer’s product, unless we hit the jackpot or ready to declare a bankruptcy) but rather wait for the sale to come because its value for money and builds up the patient in us. Do they? i don’t think so :D
Self-made Rosary necklace Self-made wooden bead bracelets (Bottom left)
i would like to thank all of you who participated in the comment session in my last post of Accessories. i truly believe eventhough the accessories posted was a bit ‘old fashion’ we must at least own one of this similar kind simply because it a classical piece for keep. It also casually goes with any simple form of dress and completes the entire look, effortlessly.
Here are part of my accessories collected over the years that i would like to share with all of you. They are a bit flashy and outdated no doubt, but remember those are bought at the peak of trend during that time. i usually prefer my accessories to be in metal form, possibly matt effect. Sometimes i’m really in the mood for vibrant colors accessories which i felt a little embarassed to wear them on because of my age and the surrounding that is constantly lacking of fashion concious. However, i am very glad and pleased that some of you still appreciates hand-made accessories. As for me, i appreciates anything that is intricate because it has a substance in it.
Wearing: Crimson V-Neck Top, Green Silk-Chiffon scarf (8ft in length)
The green scarf which i have been talking about lately, is finally here (though its not the real one :D )! But it has all the characteristics of the one in the movie.. It can’t go wrong, its a silk chiffon base material, anyway. It didn’t get me quite long to discover something similar to Patricia Field’s green scarf. They were selling at 80 USD over the net and i’, paying for about 23 MYR which is equivalent to 6.20 USD (exchange rate at 3.60) which is more than 10x cheaper. If i am a rich girl, i swear i would have bought the original Particia Field’s. As for now, i am only able to find a similar buy.

Its back to black time. my wish-list for the day. Look forward for a new trip to the city soon. As usual, due to money issues, will be downgrading my options to something similar to these.
Made of: Red-Orangey, Navy Blue, Olive Green, Light Green, Grey, Sky Blue & Light Brown Swarovski bicone beads + Dark Brown seed beadsMade of: Purple + Grey glass bicone beads
i have finally finished constructing my own bracelets made from the excess Swarovskis and glass beads that i have last time. i do not have them in complete pairs of Swarovski bicones to construct a symetrical / linear color sequencing, so i have them mixed based on the idea of a cocktail. Whereas the other one was made using glass beads but with a more intricated twist added into it. Used shades of purple + grey tone beads for this. Here’s the end result and don’t ask me why i named this post a ‘Sea Cucumber Coctail’.
