Wearing Dorothy Perkins floral motives puff sleeved dress, Balenciaga inspired booties, Rimmel 260 Funtime Fuschia.
i can impossibly imagine me wearing a real Balenciaga or Sam Edelman bootie. First, obviously it would cost me a bomb. Second, it would also cost me a bomb… Hmm. However, i suffered much a struggle in trying to get over it. Thank God that i have discovered a local online blog store that brings in ‘designer-inspired’ or ‘fashion-inspired’ shoes all the way from Korea (if i am not wrong). . i almost could not believe my eyes and was quite stunned when i first glared at these boots one night when i was browsing through the net to ease off my shopping addictions after a hard day at work that i don’t even passionate about. It’s all worth the money for now considering my financial health in an intensive care unit at stage. i always thank Him for the path in preventing me from splurging into ‘expensive-and-could-not-afford buys. i gave a thought, many many times with that thousands of bucks spent on fetish-looking-booties-that-i-know-i-would-not-even-wear-it-out-in-public-not-especially-in-a-sub-urb-name-Kuantan-except-for-blogging-purpose. Phew! :D i could do good by getting a plentiful collection of vintage dresses for myself and the many important things that i always almost forgot to do like car painting & overhaul, a decent Western cuisine family dinner treat and a problem-free handphone for my boyfriend.
i wonder, how many of us as ‘fashion-bloggers’ overindulged ourselves with designer’s-labels just to feel good about ourselves in it and in the end, ended up feeling empty and devastated all over again? And the cycle continues… Do you? As for me, yes. How do you cope with your temptations & money when it is getting out of control? Any suggestions? Tips are welcome here. Would love to hear from you. Good night & Have a nice weekend ahead!

Another mix & match outfit post. Weather was bright just like the way i love it. Have to appreciate it to the max before the deadly monsoon season takes charge in end of October onwards. Summer rules for now! Have yourself the most perfect summer of the year!

A wardrobe spin over the weekend and here’s the outcome. Thanks to Ivy for helping me with the camera.
Givenchy obsession. What more to say? Discovered a shoe at a local fashion store that has a similar element from the Givenchy shoes above. Have had a plan in mind to purchase it today. Love the cutouts & its overlapping straps and the protruding back of its heels. These are the points that has got my attention in the first place, plus it is black in color. Hopefully, i am not too late.. Will share it in my upcoming post if i managed to get it on time.
Another alternative shoe to the Marni Acrylic Wedge that we (me & blackcoffeecrumbs) could not afford to buy (sigh). i have already in my mind to do some minor alterations to this wedge. i am planning to cut off aproximately half to an inch of the back heel so that it will look more like the Marni wedge. But before that, i need to get myself a spare piece of this similar wedge incase experiment failure. As always, i will need to have time for that too ; ) Will keep you all posted once mission accomplished.

A round-up on my shoe closet as promised in my BE the BEst post. Most of them are from NOSE & Vincci because they are the only fashion shoe stores that are available in Kuantan, where i am living now. Thank God there’s Internet technology! Anyway, those drawings are my drafts. i used to draw during my free-time. They are not as good as Wendy’s of blackcoffeecrumbs . She’s a fashion designer and she draws a lot. Be sure to visit her blog to see more of professional drawings. Bye for now~
Was very happy to received the Bebe Stella shoes that i’ve ordered a few weeks back. Have them tested immediately after work. Felt & looked like a supermodel on the runway (though i’m not qualified) :D i will have them paired with a more appropriate outfit in a few days to come.. Sorry too for the low quality picture taken, was quite in a hurry when i took them today. As for now, i will be taking a short break to settle some stuff. Will be back aproximately early next week the earliest.
[ p/s: Pardon me for the scaly legs :D its been like this all these while, bad genetics i’d guess ]
Stereotypically speaking, most of us would relate the color ‘Yellow’ to some construction boots, raincoat, fire-hydrant or even mustard. Yellow could sometimes be hideous if not carefully used or applied due to the fact that its very eye-catching. Some of us, especially designers and attention-seeking-celebrities might like the idea of being noticeable by creating a new look or simply putting on a vividly bright color outfit, shoes or accessories. However, those of the above do make a good fashion statement and i call it ‘Bold & Stunning’. Lastly, not forgetting the shoes, Michael Kors, Marni, Christian Dior & Bebe produced a dreadfully-attractive design with those color and they played the game well. Bravo!
